General information
The site explains everyday computer concepts for educational purposes. It does not inspect your device, know your files or account configuration, or provide a personalized diagnosis.
Interfaces change
Menu names, settings, keyboard behaviour, supported features, prices, and vendor policies can change. Managed workplace and school devices may differ from personal devices. Consult the current documentation for the actual product.
Back up before major changes
Deleting accounts, resetting a computer, reinstalling software, changing storage partitions, editing system settings, or replacing hardware can cause data loss or service interruption. Maintain tested backups and obtain qualified assistance when uncertain.
Security and fraud
Safety guidance reduces risk but cannot guarantee protection. If financial information, identity documents, account recovery, active malware, or unauthorized access may be involved, stop ordinary troubleshooting and contact the relevant institution or a qualified professional through a verified route.
No support relationship
Reading a guide, using a tool, or submitting an editorial correction does not create a technical-support, consulting, fiduciary, teaching, or professional relationship.
External content
External links and advertisements may change and are controlled by others. Verify downloads, offers, claims, and terms directly with the responsible provider.
